Dr. Vishal Advani, DDS

Dr. Vishal Advani completed a rigorous dual-degree program at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT. During his attendance, he received his B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Chemistry, graduating with highest honors.

While earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Advani learned about the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry from some of the top faculty in the country.  Dr. Advani's Ivy League dental education included a strong foundation in the medical and dental sciences along with outstanding clinical training from dentists across the globe.

Upon completion of his dental training, Dr. Advani returned to his home state of Vermont, where he worked in private practice. Dr. Advani moved to the Chicagoland area in 2012, where he has family throughout the suburbs.  Dr. Advani opened up Elk Grove Smile Center in 2012 and has been serving the Elk Grove Village community ever since.

Dr. Prutha Desai, DMD

Dentist

Dr. Prutha Desai was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her undergraduate studies, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Business and Chemistry. She then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating in 2016. Dr. Desai’s favorite part about dentistry is her patients; she values connecting with them and building on the relationships through the years. She enjoys all phases of dentistry, especially esthetic dentistry, which includes crowns, bridges, veneers, and tooth-colored fillings, as well as pediatric dentistry, extractions, and root canals.

When not in the office, you can find Dr. Desai with her husband and two boys, rock climbing, reading, or planning her next big hike. She looks forward to meeting you and treating you with the utmost care and gentle hands while providing a comfortable experience for you and your whole family. Dr. Desai is certified in Invisalign orthodontic treatment and speaks English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Spanish.

Dr. Shivani Desai Advani, DMD

Dentist

Dr. Shivani Desai Advani ("Dr. Desai") grew up in Bloomington, IL.  She went to Southern Illinois University and earned her dental degree in 2014.  Dr. Desai performs all phases of general dentistry, but is particularly skilled with cosmetics and restorative work, including crowns, tooth colored fillings, root canals and extractions.  Dr. Shivani Desai Advani and Dr. Vishal Advani have been married since 2016 and have a 4.5 year old daughter and 16 month old son. Dr. Desai enjoys working out, creative design and spending time with her friends and family.
