What Are Veneers?

Shaped and shaded to look like you

Dental veneers are thin shells shaped and colored to look like natural teeth. They are bonded to the front of your teeth to permanently change the appearance of your smile. Veneers can correct:

  • Deep stains and discoloration
  • Chipped or worn teeth
  • Gaps and widely spaced teeth
  • Small or uneven teeth
  • Ridges and enamel damage
  • Mildly crooked teeth

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Call Now (847) 472-0236
Are dental veneers safe?

Yes. Veneers are a safe way to fix discoloration, chips, bumps and ridges, and teeth that are small, widely spaced, or mildly crooked.

Are veneers permanent?

The process removes a small amount of enamel so the veneers look natural, so it can’t be reversed. For most patients, the improvement is well worth it.

Am I a good candidate for veneers?

As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, you may be a good candidate. Schedule an exam and consultation and Dr. Advani will let you know if veneers are right for you.

Does insurance cover veneers?

Veneers are usually considered cosmetic, so most plans don’t cover them. We’re happy to review your benefits and discuss your options.
